Website & Service Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• “Company” – Sopgood Cleaning Ltd, Company No 16526103.
• “Client” / “you” – any individual or entity requesting a quotation or service.
• “Service” – any cleaning or related work we supply.
• “Site” – soopgoodcleaning.co.uk.

2. Website use

• All content is provided “as is” for general information.
• You may link to the Site, but must not copy, reproduce or exploit any material without written consent.
• We aim for accuracy but do not warrant completeness; we may change content without notice.

3. Quotations

• Quotes are free and valid for 30 days.
• Quoted prices assume accurate Client-provided information and normal site conditions.

4. Bookings & Cancellation

• To confirm a job we require written acceptance (e-mail or signed form).
• Client may cancel or reschedule without fee up to 24 hours before the agreed start time.
• Cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50 % charge; no-shows incur 100 %.

5. Access & Safety

• Client must provide safe, legal access and inform us of hazards (e.g. alarms, pets, sharps).
• We reserve the right to refuse or suspend work if conditions pose a health risk.

6. Payment terms

• Invoices are issued on completion (one-off) or monthly (regular contracts).
• Payment due within 7 days by bank transfer, card or approved platform.
• Late payments accrue interest at 4 % p.a. above Bank of England base rate.

7. Liability

• We carry £1 million public liability insurance.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee paid for the specific Service.
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, indirect or consequential loss.

8. Guarantee & Complaints

• If you are dissatisfied, notify us within 24 hours; we will re-clean the affected area at no extra cost.
• This guarantee does not cover issues reported after 24 hours or arising from circumstances beyond our control (e.g. new spills, third-party damage).

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, illness, transport failure or legal restrictions.

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, text and graphics on the Site are the Company’s intellectual property unless stated otherwise.

11. Privacy

Your data is processed per our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Revised versions are effective upon posting on this page.
